By using 128-bit encryption through Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the most advanced security available today, Universal ensures that your information will remain encrypted until it reaches the Universal server. Only then is it decrypted for use on shipping labels or contest ballots, for example.

Use of Cookies:
Cookies are pieces of information that a web site transfers to an individual's computer hard drive for record keeping purposes. Cookies make using the Site easier by, among other things, saving your passwords and preferences for you. As an example, Universal uses cookies to keep track of your shopping cart when you visit our online store, and help identify you when you return to the Store. Choice/Opt-Out:
The Site may provide you the opportunity to opt-in to receive communications from us at the point where Universal requests information about you. You always have the option of removing your name from any e-mail list to not receive future communications. In order to ensure immediate removal from any list, it is best to follow the specific instructions outlined within the communications you receive from us. However, if you are unable to complete the process indicated in the communications, then just send us an e-mail at customerservice@umusic.com with a copy of the undesired email attached to the request and state that you wish to be removed from the mailing list.

Universal reserves the right to:
(i) cooperate with local, provincial and national officials in any investigation requiring either personal information; including any personal information provided online through the Site or reports about lawful or unlawful visitor activities on the Site;
(ii) change this Privacy Policy at any time; and
(iii) disclose any information in an individual's account in order to satisfy any law, regulation or government request if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to site operation, or to protect the rights or property of Universal and its users, sponsors, providers, licensors or merchants.
